Kilted Pig was started by Bill Bain, a Kansas City BBQ Society Judge and expert in the fine art of smoked BBQ.  Bill was also a partner and driving force in developing the BBQ recipes and cooking methods at the Dancing Bear BBQ that received 4 stars from the Sacramento Bee.  Bill left the Dancing Bear to concentrate on BBQ Catering in the greater Sacramento area.  Bill is a board member of the Western States BBQ Assn. and does charity BBQ catering for the troops and other worthy causes as well as BBQ fundraisers for local youth sports programs.
